Student Perspective
Hi, I'm Savannah Shanley!
Savannah Shanley, Masters of Occupational Therapy student
I am a first-year in the Speech-Language pathology master’s program. I came to the University of Cincinnati as an undergrad majoring in Biological Sciences with the plan of one day going to medical school. After that first year, I realized I didn’t feel like that path was for me after all. After some research and talking to my family, I found the Speech Language Hearing Sciences program. Dr. Sotto was a great resource for getting started in the program. From there, I have had wonderful experiences with the support and opportunities this program and faculty provide to their students.
Hi, I'm Maria Zarick!
Maria Zarick, 3rd year SLP online student
I am in my 3rd year of the SLP-Online program and will graduate this August. I chose UC because I have friends who went through the SLP program, either as undergrads or grads, and spoke highly of it. I also wanted a program that was close to home and/or online so that I could continue working for as long as possible while studying to earn my master's degree.
